Renting a car in Tobago

Drivers must be 25+ with a permit held for over 2 years. One-day rentals need prior approval, so call us first.
Who can rent a car in Tobago with 1st Choice?

Drivers must be at least 25 years old and have held a valid driver's permit for more than 2 years. Every driver uploads a photo of their permit when booking.

Can I pick up my rental car at Tobago airport?

Yes. We hand over cars at A.N.R Robinson International Airport in Crown Point, at the Scarborough wharf for ferry arrivals (TTD 100 fee), or at your hotel or villa.

How much does it cost to rent a car in Tobago?

Our daily rates start at TTD 300 for sedans and go up to TTD 600 for the 8-seat Nissan Serena minivan. Your total is shown before you submit: daily rate × number of days, plus the wharf fee if you choose the Scarborough wharf.

Can I rent a car for just one day?

One-day rentals (less than 24 hours) need prior approval from management. Please call or WhatsApp us before booking a one-day rental.

Which side of the road do you drive on in Tobago?

Trinidad and Tobago drives on the left. All of our cars are automatic and air-conditioned, which makes island driving easy.
